Mrs. Gia Graddy

Mrs. Gia Graddy has been teaching in the Hoover City School System since 1998 and at Spain Park High School since its opening in 2001.  Before coming to Spain Park, she taught at Hoover High School.  Mrs. Graddy holds a Master of Music from Auburn University, where she was in the Auburn University Singers, Concert Choir, and Women's Choir. 

Prior to attending Auburn, she received her Bachelor of Music Education from Georgia College & State University.

In the short time she has been at Spain Park, Mrs. Graddy founded the Spain Park Choral Department that now consists of the Concert Choir, The Park Singers, and a piano keyboarding class. The choral department at Spain Park has consistently earned Superior rankings at competitions they have attended and have been privileged enough to be invited to sing at Disney World, and Carnegie Hall in New York City.

Mrs. Graddy is married to Mr. Joey Graddy, a graphic designer. They live in Pelham, Alabama and have been happily married since 2004.

They have one child, their dog Bailey.
