¿Am I Ready For Spanish 2?
More than likely you’ve forgotten a lot of Spanish over the summer break. Now is the time to start refreshing your memory so that you will be able to start off strong in Spanish 2!
Below is a list of topics that were taught in Spanish 1 at SPHS. Please take time to review the material and complete the practice activities. This work DOES NOT have to be recorded and scores DO NOT have to be emailed to your instructor. Completing the following activities will give you an idea of how solid your Spanish 1 foundation is and constant review will allow you to strengthen that foundation if needed. Please be advised that you will be expected to implement all of the material listed below during your level 2 course work. This material will be reviewed briefly as needed throughout the year but we will not have time to re-teach it. Also, any vocabulary introduced last year is likely to re-appear without notice in the level 2 book and on tests/quizzes.
Please Note:
Do
not try to complete all activities at once. Complete a few at a time and focus
on the topics that you had trouble with last year.
While
some of the notes below include ‘vosotros’ we do not
focus on it in class.
